Laura joined Fairbourne Properties in January 2019 with over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. As a Senior Manager of Acquisitions and Asset Management, Laura is responsible for the acquisition, disposition, asset management, valuation, and financing, as well as the preparation of the company’s quarterly financial reports for Fairbourne’s operating partners.

Prior to joining Fairbourne, Laura was a Senior Analyst in the Commercial Mortgage Finance Group at Draper and Kramer which specializes in the placement of traditional mortgage debt, mezzanine debt, equity, and note repurchases. At Draper and Kramer, Laura worked with Senior Management to help identify, structure, and execute optimum financing options for institutional and middle-market real estate clients. She also spent time as an Associate at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) in the Chicago Debt and Structured Finance Group and participated in the Financial Analyst Program at Wells Fargo within the Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Banking Group.

 

Laura earned her BBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is an active member of Chicago’s Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF) and currently serves as Treasurer on the Board. Laura also holds her Illinois Real Estate Broker’s License. As a Colorado native, Laura enjoys snowboarding, camping, and spending time with her two daughters and husband.
